PURPOSE: A method for producing glass bulbs is provided to save glass tubes by forming bulbs with flare and dome at each end of glass tube, and blowing gas into the lower part of bulb tube in mold. CONSTITUTION: The production method of bulbs comprises the steps of: forming flares(S10), having enlarged width at each end of glass tubes, by heating the ends of a glass tube and pressing; separating the glass tube into two bulb tubes(S20) whose one end is closed by heating the center of glass tube with rotating, and pulling to the direction of the ends of glass tube; forming domes(S30) by pouring gas into the closed ends; supplying bulb tubes to chucks; heating the lower part of bulb tubes(S50) with rotating; forming bulbs(S60) by blowing gas into flares of bulb tubes with rotating the lower part-heated bulb tubes in mold.
