COSMETIC COMPOSITION CONTAINING EXTRACT OF GRAPEFRUIT SEED, RADIX SOPHORAE FLAVESCENTIS AND AZADIRACHTA INDICA AND HAVING ENHANCED ANTIMICROBIAL EFFECT

PURPOSE: A cosmetic composition containing an extract of grapefruit seed, Radix Sophorae Flavescentis and Azadirachta indica is provided which has strong antimicrobial action and is effective in treatment and prevention of skin disease such as acne or the like. CONSTITUTION: The dried grapefruit seed, Radix Sophorae Flavescentis and Azadirachta indica are added with 1 to 20 times of a solvent and then extracted at 50 to 95deg.C for 4 to 20hr or soaked at 5 to 37deg.C for 1 to 15 days. The solvent is one or more selected from the group consisting of water, ethanol, methanol, propanol, butanol, glycerin, propylene glycol and butylene glycol. The cosmetic composition contains 0.001 to 10%(w/v) of the extract.
