SIDE CURTAIN TYPE AIRBAG AND PRODUCING METHOD

PURPOSE: An airbag of a side curtain type and a producing method are provided to maintain expanded state for more than 5 minutes in an accident by producing the side curtain type airbag of pushing air of 0.8 liter per a minute and a centimeter. CONSTITUTION: An airbag of a side curtain type is made by thermoplastic multifilament. An upper portion and a lower portion of the airbag are combined together by sewing. An adhesive film(4) of 5 to 100 micrometer thick is laminated to one or both surfaces of the airbag. Exhausting volume of air in the sewed portion is 0.8 liter per a minute and a centimeter. Thereby, expanded state of the airbag maintains for more than 5 minutes to protect a passenger by installing a side window or a side structure.
