Preparation of plants of enhanced e.g. salinity resistance comprises metabolism modification to enhance tolerance to ambient osmotic stress

摘要

The preparation of plants of enhanced e.g. salinity resistance comprises changing the metabolism of the cell cycle and the ionic homeostasis of the plant by expression of the Athal 3 genes of Arabidopsis thaliana. The resulting transgenic plants are of controlled development, with better tolerance to ambient osmotic stress.
