A ski pole handle with a possibility of adjusting the effective length of a strap (<HIL><PDAT>3<PDAT>) fastened to the handle (<HIL><PDAT>1<PDAT>), said handle (<HIL><PDAT>1<PDAT>) having in its upper portion a throughgoing cavity (<HIL><PDAT>9<PDAT>) through which the strap (<HIL><PDAT>3<PDAT>) is threaded, and an element (<HIL><PDAT>12<PDAT>) is adapted to be pressed down into the cavity (<HIL><PDAT>9<PDAT>) in order to clamp the strap (<HIL><PDAT>3<PDAT>) against the walls of a downwardly tapering portion of the cavity (<HIL><PDAT>9<PDAT>). The element (<HIL><PDAT>12<PDAT>) is situated on a control knob (<HIL><PDAT>4<PDAT>) which is mounted at the top of the handle (<HIL><PDAT>1<PDAT>) and which can be pushed down and raised relatively to the handle (<HIL><PDAT>1<PDAT>), for fastening and releasing the strap (<HIL><PDAT>3<PDAT>), respectively, said knob (<HIL><PDAT>4<PDAT>) having a throughgoing aperture or apertures (<HIL><PDAT>8<PDAT>) for the strap (<HIL><PDAT>3<PDAT>).</PTEXT> |
