PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to decide whether a musical performance state is good in real time when playing a set piece of music over a look at its musical score displayed on a specific display device. SOLUTION: The CPU 11 of a personal computer 1 compares musical performance data inputted from an electronic musical instrument 2 with note-on events of music data in a music ROM 15 to decide the state of musical performance operation and displays image data of a decision image corresponding to the decision result at a display part 17 where notes corresponding to the note-on events are displayed as the musical performance operation advances.
