PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal and a welding method which enables welding without nuisance with conductive parts kept unloosened, in welding wire especially with a slender conductive part to the terminal. SOLUTION: With the metal terminal 30 to which electric wire 40 constituting a conductive part 42 with a plurality of metal small-gage wires is connected by welding, a holding part 38 for holding the conductive part 42 bundled is formed in the vicinity of the part where the conductive part 42 is welded.
