PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission system, capable of stably compensating nonlinear distortions of a unit amplifier which is not troubled, even if a plurality of unit amplifiers connected in parallel are troubled in the transmission system, in which adaptive predistortions are executed in a power amplifier in which the plurality of the unit amplifiers are connected in parallel, for improving the linearity of a transmission output. SOLUTION: The transmission system comprises the power amplifier, in which the plurality of the unit amplifiers are connected in parallel and the adaptive predistortion is executed in the power amplifier for improving the linearity of the transmission output. The system further comprises a constitution for detecting a level change of an input terminal or an output terminal of each of the plurality of the unit amplifiers, and other constitution for generating a reference signal of the adaptive predistortion by variably setting the gain of a base band signal to be output from a base band signal unit, corresponding to the detected level change.
