PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the generation of arc discharge caused by connection and disconnection of a battery terminal and a vehicle side circuit in a current carrying state. SOLUTION: This on-vehicle battery 10B having battery terminals 10p, 10n to be connected to the vehicle side circuit has a openable and closable terminal cover 24, and connection and disconnection of the battery terminals 10p, 10n and the vehicle side circuit are obstructed in the closing state of the terminal cover 24. A lock device 26 for locking the terminal cover 24 in a closing position is installed, and the lock device 26 is converted into an unlock state only when the specified unlock condition for confirming a state that the battery terminals 10p, 10n are in a nonconductive state is satisfied. |
