ANTENNA DIVERSITY CONTROLLING METHOD OF RADIO MOBILE SET

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the antenna diversity control method of a radio mobile set by which only one system of a receiving circuit is required as the result of realizing antenna switching diversity despite of the presence of a continuously receiving state in high speed transmission packet communication. SOLUTION: The radio mobile set for transmitting and receiving data with a base station compares the reception electric field intensities of a plurality of antennas by using the timing of a collision control bit which does not have to be received among collision control bits (E) in a sub frame or the timing of the collision control bit and a ramp (a guard time for burst transient response), and selects an antenna of a larger electric field intensity.
