The internal fixator serves for fixing fractured bones. It consists of a rod (5) clamp (4) with an adequate bolt (3) or a selflocked clamp (2) with an adequate bolt (1). On one side of the rod a hole is located (28) for the clamp (3) and on the opposite side a extended hole (30) also for the bolt (3). The clamp (4) is fixed to the rod (5) tightened by the bolt (3) which through it's openings (21) and (24) is screwed into the bone. The clamp (2) is fixed to the rod (5) by tightening the coil (26) of the bolt (1) into the opening where the coil is situated. (12). If the clamps (4A) and (4B) are loosened then they loose their connection with the rod (5) and the rod glides through these clamps, so if in the place of the fracture (34) exists a gap, between the fragments (33A) and (33B), the force of compression brings the rod (5) to slither along the channel (3), directed by the route of the bolt (3A) which is screwed into the bone (33A) after passing through the channel (30) consequently to that the fragment of the bones (33A) slides towards the bone fragment (33B) whereby compression arises on the place of the fracture (34). The bolts (3A) and (3B) secures a rotator stability of the fragments into which they are screwed in. Another rendering of the rod (50) and (52) enables the fixation of the upper and lower lappet of the thigh bone and other bones, so that the bolt (46) which has a coil (49) whose external diameter is the same as the diameter of the stem (48) and on the other side there is a top (48) which has a six angled dent for the screw driver, passes through the canal on expanded parts (32) of the rod (50) and (45) and the rod (52) whose axis are a, b, c, e, f, g so that the bolt (46) can slide through the canal and cannot change course. |
