PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain high picture quality by making it possible to adjust transfer bias conditions and performing transfer under the best transfer bias conditions. SOLUTION: At a liquid crystal display part of a console panel, an Auto key and a manual key with which a transfer bias can be varied are displayed (TRANSFER INTENSITY) in addition to an Auto key and a manual key used to adjust the density of an image. When the Auto key of TRANSFER INTENSITY is pressed, a printer CPU controls the transfer biases of DC power sources of respective colors to standard conditions through a transfer bias control part. Further, the printer CPU makes the transfer bias condition large according to a set quantity when the manual key of TRANSFER INTENSITY is set to the right side and small according to the set quantity when the manual key is set to the left side. |
