PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contents use management system which enables a distribution server to securely and suitably control uses of contents on a user terminal and lighten the load on the user terminal. SOLUTION: User terminals 4a,..., 4n, etc., request the use of contents (LT issue request) of a use condition managing server 3 according to user's indications. An LT issue request includes expectation information (ELI) showing requested contents and the use amount of the contents. The user condition managing server 3 holds license information showing the use conditions of contents by the users, cuts part or all of the use conditions that the license information indicates according to the expectation information (ELI) included in the LT issue requests being the user requests, and generates and sends a license ticket(LT) including the cut right information (UR-Uc) to the user terminals 4a,..., 4n, etc. |
