PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information distribution device capable of preventing unrequired downloading by enabling a user to clearly discriminate whether or not contents are already downloaded. SOLUTION: In the case that downloading of the contents is requested from the user, an already downloaded content judgment part 150 accesses a downloading history information storage part 155 and judges whether or not the contents are already downloaded. When a judgement result indicates that they are already downloaded, a web page construction part 160 constructs a web page for re-downloading confirmation and transmits it through a transmission/reception part 110 to a user terminal 100. In response, the web page for the re-downloading confirmation is displayed at the user terminal 100. Since the user refers to the contents of the web page for the re-downloading confirmation and decides whether or not to re-download the contents, unrequired re-downloading is prevented. |
