PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cooling apparatus having a high reliability. SOLUTION: The apparatus comprises a casing 10 mounted on a closed structure 8 so as to introduce its inner air therein, a partition plate 11 provide in the casing 1 for separating inner air in the closed structure 8 from external air, a heat pipe 12 piercing the partition plate 11 to support the pipe 12 having a heat receiving part at the inner air side and a heat-radiating part at the outside air side, a first lid 18 openably provided on the closed structure 8 of the casing 10 near the top of the radiating part 12b of the pipe 12, so as to guide the inner air in the structure 8 to the outside air, when it is in open state, and a second lid 23 provided openably on the casing 10 near the bottom of the receiving part 12a of the pipe 12, so as to guide the outside air into the structure 8, when it is in open state.
