PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor for reporting the reading state of an original to a user as needed. SOLUTION: In a copy device 1, when a runner moves to an original read start position and reaches the read start position in the case of starting image read, this is detected by a runner position detecting sensor, and 'assert interrupt' is generated and a state under reading is reported to the display part of an operation display part 2 or a voice generating part 3 with display or in voice by a system control part 4. When reading is completed by moving the runner to an original read ending position, 'negate interrupt' is generated by the runner position detecting sensor, and the end of reading is reported to the display part of the operation display part 2 or an audio generating part 3 with display or in voice by the system control part 4. When conveying an original by an ADF (automatic draft feeder) or when operating the device in an operating mode set by a user as no necessity of notice, reading state display notice processing is not performed by the system control part 4. |
