摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the need for altering the arrangements of a gripping device entirely even in case of different outside diameter of core, outside diameter of shaft, length of shaft, number of slots, and the like. SOLUTION: When core chuck substrates 33 and 33 are moved to the left through a connecting member 44 by moving a core chuck opening/closing cylinder 32 under a state where an armature 1 carried from the direction perpendicular to the paper plane while directing the slots 4 and 4 of the core 3 in the vertical direction is located in a pair of vertical core chuck handles 31 and 31 of a core chuck unit 30 in the open state, core chuck blades 35 and 35 integrated with guide pins 34 and 34 being driven through cam grooves 33a and 33a thereof move in the direction approaching closely each other. Consequently, protrusions 35a and 35a at the forward end are fitted in the upper and lower slots 4 and 4 and the core 3 is elevated up to the machining position while being clamped vertically.
