PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric oscillator having superior frequency stability, with respect to a change in time. SOLUTION: The piezoelectric oscillator comprises a parallel circuit having a piezoelectric transducer and an oscillation transistor, having an emitter grounded via the parallel circuit of a resistor and a capacitor and having a capacitor inserted to be connected between the emitter and a collector, in such a manner that the transducer is inserted to be connected between a base of the transistor and the ground. Thus, the small-sized piezoelectric oscillator, having the excellent frequency stability with respect to its change with time and load change characteristics, can be provided.
