PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To overcome thermal and electromagnetic problems caused by the presence of two chips or an electronic card in an apparatus. SOLUTION: The apparatus for transmitting and receiving electromagnetic waves comprises a transmission electronic card for determining a first long diameter, and a reception electronic card for determining a second long diameter. The first long diameter is nearly completely extended from an antenna shaft, and the second long diameter is nearly completely extended from the antenna shaft. The thermal and electromagnetic problems can be overcome by the apparatus for transmitting and receiving electromagnetic waves featuring the determining of an angle of at least 90 deg. between the first and second long diameters when projection is made to a surface that is vertical to the antenna axis.
