PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base station having an array antenna system wherein antenna directivity can be so corrected that communication quality of a mobile station becomes maximum when the base station forms a down beam, in a mobile communication system using W-CDMA. SOLUTION: This base station is constituted of a demodulation signal outputting part 9 which receives four up radio signals and outputs a demodulation signal from four detection signals having the same phase; an up weight information calculating part 25 which calculates up weight information regarding the up radio signals, on the basis of the demodulation signal and communication quality; a down weight information calculating part 26 which outputs multiplication weight information which is obtained, by a method wherein the up weight information calculated by the up weight information calculating part 25 is multiplied by wavelength ratio between up carrier wave and down carrier wave, as down weight information; and a correction value calculating part 24 which outputs a correction value by which communication quality of a mobile station becomes maximum, on the basis of the demodulation signal outputted from the demodulation signal outputting part 9.
