PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To overcome the problems wherein when full color image printing is attempted at high speed on both sides of continuous paper by a tandem method, 8 sets of printing units are required for printing the front side and for printing the back side, consequently assembly and adjustment of the whole apparatus take long time to thereby cause problems concerning cost, reliability and maintainability of the apparatus. SOLUTION: In the apparatus, printing stations are constituted as two modules where the printing units are lined up vertically. In this case, both side printing is carried out by using the pair of printing stations facing each other. The problems are solved by assembling and adjusting each module. |
