PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a master disk for manufacturing optical recording medium with which rugged patterns corresponding to at least one among pits, grooves and lands of intricate shapes recorded on the optical recording medium can be formed and to provide an optical recording medium which has at least one among pits, grooves and lands of intricate shapes. SOLUTION: A laser beam L, which is a recording light, is made to follow up the top of the first rugged patterns 39 formed on a photoresist 150 of a first layer by using the aligner having a tracking mechanism and latent images 55 of the second rugged patterns are formed on a photoresist 12 of the second layer. The photoresist 12 of the second layer is thereafter developed. The rugged patterns dealing with the grooves and lands recorded on the optical disk are formed by the first rugged patterns 39 and the second rugged patterns on a master glass disk 11. |
