PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a long hour playing capability for an electronic musical instrument, which is operated by dry cells and batteries, by saving power consumption. SOLUTION: The electronic musical instrument is provided with a playing condition detecting means which detects the playing condition of a player and a control means which scans the playing condition detecting means for every prescribed time and controls musical sound in accordance with the scanning result. In the instrument, power is supplied to the playing condition detecting means only when the control means scans the playing condition detecting means. |
