PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small and inexpensive fixing device by which the temperature of a paper passing range of a fixing roll can be stably controlled, and which has no fixing failure or image soiling. SOLUTION: In the device, a fixing roll provided with an elastic layer, a press roll and a thermister installed in a longitudinal direction of the fixing roll are provided and the thermister is arranged in the paper passing range and a non image range and can be moved in the longitudinal direction of the fixing roll. |
