PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a merchandise sale data processor that dispenses with labor and has excellent accuracy in comparison with a case that data is recovered/restored by manually inputting information described on a journal again as in the conventional manner. SOLUTION: Data (a) at least regarding merchandise in journal data and key signals b, c, d, e regarding various key operations in a sale processing in addition to journal data are symbolized and printed on the journal J in the order of processing operations. Thus, since damaged or disappeared journal data is restored by executing a sale processing of merchandise by successively (in the order of processing operations) reading code symbols a, b, c, d, e which are printed on the journal in the order of processing operations, for example, by a scanner, etc., the processor that dispenses with the labor and has the excellent accuracy in comparison with the case that the data is recovered/ restored by manually inputting information which is described on the journal again as in the conventional manner is provided. |
