PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device which separates a sheet from a fixation belt without using any operation claw. SOLUTION: The fixing device is equipped with a pressure roller 28 which comes into rolling contact with a fixing roller 24, an energizing member which presses the pressure roller against the fixing roller, a heating roller 26 which is arranged separately from the fixing roller, a fixing belt 32 which is extended endlessly between the heating roller and fixing roller, and a heating means which heats the fixing belt to heat toner on a sheet passing through the rolling contact part between the fixing roller and pressure roller, and allows the sheet to pass through the rolling contact part in one direction. Here, the angleθbetween the axis X connecting the center point of the fixing roller and the center point of the fixing roller and the axis Y of the pressure roller at the rolling contact part in the energizing direction to the fixing roller is -30 deg.<θ<-80 deg.
