PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the operability of a disk changer remarkably by freely blocking or allowing the turning of a disk storage part. SOLUTION: The disk changer is provided with a disk playback part 20, a discoid disk storage part 30 arranged freely turnably around the disk playback part 20, a plurality of disk housing grooves 31 radially provided on the upper surface of the disk storage part 30, and a disk transport means 40 to transport a disk between the disk housing groove 31 and the disk playback part 20. The disk changer is further provided with a mechanism 60 to block/allow turning which freely blocks or allows the turning of the disk storage part 30 in both states of the state where a door part 50 is opened and the state where the door part 50 is closed.
