OPTICAL DISK RECORDING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk recording method which can accurately detect an additional writing position when information is divided and additionally written to a rewritable optical disk. SOLUTION: When the information is divided and additionally written to the rewritable optical disk, a run-out block (specific data) and then erasure data are added to the tail part of divided user data (divided information) and the position of a break between the run-out block and erasure data as the additional writing position is detected according to final position information on the run-out block; and a packet (information with attached information) to be recorded is overwritten to the erasure data and thus additionally written successively to the run-out block.
