PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device which is properly used as a liquid crystal projector and is capable of improving a heat radiating efficiency. SOLUTION: The display device is provided with a display panel comprising a substrate 42 and a display medium layer 55 held on the substrate 42, a heat radiating film 40 having thermal conductivity higher than the substrate 42 and formed on the substrate, and a heat radiating body 30 having thermal conductivity higher than the substrate 42 and arranged on the outside of the display panel so as to be thermally connected with the heat radiating film 40. The heat charged in the display panel is radiated outside via the heat radiating film 40 and the heat radiating body.
