PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively, easily, and quickly generate an arbitrary document using a fixed format. SOLUTION: The size of characters of character information to be arranged in a character frame is automatically determined on the basis of inputted character information and the size of the designated character frame of a document template (step S3), and character information is printed in the character frame with the determined character size (step S5). Thus a document using the fixed format is inexpensively, easily, and quickly generated with an arbitrary character size and the arbitrary number of characters by this constitution.
