<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To conveniently mount a protection cover to a top aerial wire through easier and reliable combining work of both divided bodies thereof. SOLUTION: The protection cover is composed of plastic separate bodies 1, 2 which may be combined through phase cutout portions 5a, 6a of semi- cylindrical pipe portions 5, 6 where collars 3, 4 are provided to one end side of the semi-cylindrical pipe portions 5, 6, and projected portions 9, 11 are provided to the other end side. At the external surface of collar 3 of the divided body 1, an engaging groove 12 from which the part facing to the cutout portion 7 of the collar 3 is removed is provided in the annular shape. An elastic stop ring 13 from which only a part corresponding to at least the width of the cutout portion 7 is isolated is engaged to rotate with the engaging groove 12. Meanwhile, a groove 14 which can fill the cutout of the engaging groove 12 is provided against the projected piece 11 in the side of projected piece 11 of the divided body 2. Between the edge side 15 of the groove 14 and the stop ring 13, the male and female engaging portions 15a, 16a, which may stop rotation of the stop ring 13 when the stop ring 13 is engaged with the groove 14, are provided.</p> |
