<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent slide between base material and an elastic body over a long period of time without hindering productivity even in the case of coating the base material with the elastic body without using an adhesive. SOLUTION: This transfer body device is constituted of a cylindrical aluminum drum 25 and a rubber belt 26 with which the drum 25 is coated so that an image is transferred. The belt 26 has a hardness (JIS-A) of 60 to 80 degrees, a thickness of 0.2 to 0.8 mm and a tensile stress of >=40 kg×f/cm<2> . When the outside diameter of the drum 25 is represented by R and the inside diameter of the belt 26 (r), an inequality 1.03<=R/r<=1.15 is satisfied. When the surface roughness of the outer surface of the drum 25 is represented by S1μm Rz and the surface roughness of the inner surface of the belt 26 S2μm Rz, inequalities S1+S2<=12 and S1<=5 is satisfied.</p> |
