VOTING SYSTEM, WRITING TOOL, VOTING PAPER, AND VOTING SUPPORT METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voting system which can speedily and accurately obtain vote counting results while maintaining a conventional system wherein a ballot of election is filled with a writing tool. SOLUTION: The system is equipped with a read means 11 which automatically reads a specified candidate name handwritten on a ballot, a converting means 12 which converts the specified candidate name read by the read means 11 into electronic data as specified candidate name data, a transmitting means 15 which transmits the specified candidate name data converted by the converting means into the electronic data, a receiving means 31 which directly or indirectly receives the specified candidate data sent by the transmitting means 15, and a processing means 34 which performs totaling processing according to the specified candidate data received by the receiving means.
