PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for controlling a transmitting power by suppressing an increase in an interference when a CDMA ratio communication system transmits at multi-points. SOLUTION: The radio communication system comprises a base station and mobile stations. The base station can transmit the same signal to a plurality of mobile stations at the multi-points. The mobile stations to be transmitted at the multi-points transmit an increase request and a decrease request of the transmitting power to the base station via a transmission and a non-transmission of a predetermined code sequence to the base station.
