PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light shielding transparent sheet which makes the visible light of an image visible adequately brightly, removes the reflected image reflected into the screen to the outside of a visual field and makes it possible to obtain a high black level and high contrast of image. SOLUTION: The front surface of the light shielding transparent sheet attached to the front surface of the video screen is provided with a multiplicity of micro-projected rims 2 of a triangular section extending parallel to the horizontal direction and valleys 3 of a triangular section are formed between the adjacent micro-projected rims 2 of the triangular shape. Light diffusion surfaces 6 of a specified width W are formed on the one sides of the micro-projected rims 2 of the triangular shape heading toward apexes 4 of the micro-projected rims 2 of the triangular shape from the bottoms of the valleys 3. Black light shielding films 7 are formed from the light diffusion surfaces 6 toward the apexes 4 of the micro-projected rims 2 of the triangular shape. The other sides 8 of the micro-projected rims 2 are formed as light transmittable video light exit surface.
