PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To output a plurality of images to a single recording medium, where colors of areas such as characters or a surface are variously changed based on the image of one kind of original. SOLUTION: When image column number for changing the image color of a character area R2 is designated in a designation window by the operation of ten keys 104 while displaying a character area change screen G5a in the case of designating an X-direction column in an LCD display part 2b, the selection of a change color by the operation of a color chart 103 is received. When a 'decision' key 105 is operated, the color of the operated key is stored as the image color of the character area in an output image C which comprises in the selected column. The respective 16 colors constituting the color chart 103 are replaced with corresponding color data in a CMY color system by a color converting part 17, stored in a register in a halftone processing part 18 and outputted to an image output device 4. |
