PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device having two systems of power sources which properly secure safety in case of an abnormality and adequately put the device back into the state before the abnormality occurs after recovery. SOLUTION: If an image formation engine part becomes abnormal, an engine control part 3 passes operation state information showing the operation state before the abnormality occurrence and abnormality occurrence notice information giving notice of the abnormality to a total control part 2 and the supply of AC power to a heater control circuit 13 by a 2nd relay 9 is cut off; and the total control part 2 stores the operation state information received from the engine control part 3 in an internal memory and the supply of AC power to a 2nd power source part 5 by a 1st relay 8 is cut off. Then the 1st relay 8 is turned on to start the engine control part 3 and then the operation state information stored in the memory is passed to the engine control part 3, which controls the image formation engine part according to the received operation state information. |
