PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device that can produce proper image data without missing image through one read operation, so as to form an image on paper with designated size and magnification. SOLUTION: The imaging device reads an image of an original with a sheet- through method in a designated paper size, calculates longitudinal and lateral magnifications by using a size of an original detected by the reading operations (S13), and decides on the smaller of the magnifications in the longitudinal and lateral magnifications. In the case of calculating and deciding the magnification, the image forming device checks whether or not a space is produced in the formed image by the decided magnification, indicates a warning, when the space is produced and instructs a user to interrupt print (S15, 16) so as to prevent the image unintended by the user from being produced. |
