PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the complication of the entire constitution and problems in terms of costs and assembly man-hours due to the fact that not only a current transformer for input current detection but also a current transformer exclusive for thyristor current detection is provided for thyristor fault detection in a conventional static type reactive power compensator.
