<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrict a performance deterioration of a synchronization process even if a synchronous code is subjected to error correction encoding together with a main signal. SOLUTION: On a transmitter side, a synchronous code multiplexing part 11 multiplexes a main signal S1 and a synchronous code S2 in time division in accordance with a frame structure, and an error correction encoding part 12 makes an error correction for the multiplexed synchronous code + main signal. A modulation part 13 varies a modulation system in correspondence to a part of the synchronous code or main signal, whereas performing a modulation process such as PSK, QAM, or the like for transmission. Then, on a receiver side, a synchronous detection part 22 makes a synchronous detection by utilizing a univocally formed part of the synchronous code after the error correction. In this detection, in the synchronous code S2, a highly correlative code is selected in a part of a signal after error correction encoding and is formed univocally, thereby decreasing an execution of an erroneous synchronization detection.</p> |
