PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic tape cartridge, in which the lower half and the upper half can be easily mated and which is capable of being delt with automated assembly for the magnetic tape cartridge having a sliding door. SOLUTION: A rib 81 projects from the upper section of a first guide wall 24a in the direction of the opposite second guide wall 24b. On the other hand, a groove 55, which faces the rib 81, is carved on the inner side surface 54a of a sliding door 5. The rib 81 engages with the groove 55, thereby restricting the vertical displacement of the sliding door 5. Also the engagement of the rib 81 and the groove 55 guides the sliding door 5 in the guide channel freely. |
