PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently cool a generator and a stator of a motor which are provided in the inside of an internal combustion engine. SOLUTION: A journal 18d of a crankshaft 17 is rotatably supported by a journal supporting part 11d of a cylinder block 11 and a bearing cap 14d. An arc-shaped oil guide groove 51 is formed at a side surface of the bearing cap 14d, and a coil 25 which is part of the generator or the stator S of the motor is engaged with the oil guide groove 51. Oil flowing down from an oil return passage 53 provided at the cylinder block 11 and oil flowing down from a blow-by gas passage 54 flow downward from an upper end of the oil guide groove 51 to be returned to an oil pan 16 from a cut part 52, and the oil is brought into contact with the coil 25 during returning to cool the stator S. The performance of the generator and the motor can be prevented from being degraded by efficiently cooling the stator S of which the temperature rises even if the stator S is positioned at an upper part of the oil stored in the oil pan 16. |
