PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the circuit scale of a median filter circuit. SOLUTION: Three pieces of pixel data (one set) are rearranged in the order of sizes (1). In comparator circuits A119-B121, a maximum value and a minimum value are excluded from two sets of six pieces of pixel data, and two pieces of pixel data of four pieces of pixel data are rearranged in the order of sizes (2). In comparative selector circuits A126 and B127, a maximum value and a minimum value are excluded from four pieces of pixel data of pixel data from DFF 113 and 115 and two pieces of pixel data rearranged in (2) (3). In a comparative sorter circuit 128, two pieces of pixel data which are not rearranged in (2) are rearranged in the order of sizes (4). In the part of post-stage, a central value is selected out of five pieces of pixel data (5). |
