<p>The flexible joint mechanism for upholstered furniture is made in such a way that it enables the swivelling of the back towards the seat and at the same time the linking of the back and seat by lateral supporting sides. The main feature of the invention is that onto the leg crossbar (17) two supporting brackets (4) are attached, while onto these brackets an opening and locking mechanism linked to a bushing (3) is attached, which holds the rotating axis (7) linked to the back (1) and seat (2) frame, providing the possibility of using kinetic force to raise (open) and lower (close) the back (1) towards the seat (2).</p> |
