PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive image forming device of simple constitution which prevents laser light from leaking out of the device when a drum cartridge or a developing cartridge is removed and attracts user's attention. SOLUTION: As representative constitution, the image forming device has the drum cartridge which is equipped with at least an image carrier and detachable from a device main body, an optical means which forms a latent image by irradiating the image carrier with laser light, and the developing cartridge which develops the latent image on the image carrier and is detachable from the device main body; and the developing cartridge is provided with a link members which can move between a detection position for detecting whether the drum cartridge is loaded and a non-detection position and the drum cartridge is provided with an abutting part for moving the link member. |
