SOLUTION: The account merging method for merging a plurality of accounts for every customer possessing a plurality of accounts different in financial institution comprises a password number acquiring means for acquiring the password numbers of respective accounts from a customer through a network and a payment processing means for performing paying processing for paying the remainder of an account to be abolished and deposited interest correspondent to the remainder to the account to be continued on the basis of the authenticated result based on the password number acquired by the password number acquiring means.
