PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a character control system for a television receiver, that can display contents of language and behavior of a character displayed on a television screen while associated with contents of a television broadcast program and to provide useful information in matching with a viewer individual, through response operation information or the like from the viewer in response to changes in the contents of language and behavior of the character during the television broadcast program or recorded program reproduction. SOLUTION: The character control system for a television receiver for displaying a character in motion, in response to a viewer's operation on a television screen and for displaying the contents of language and behavior of the character, while being associated with contents of the program, is provided with a fluctuation information reception means that downloads fluctuation information of the program contents from a computer of a television broadcast station side and a language and behavior control means that controls changes in the contents of language and behavior of the character, by using the downloaded fluctuation information for control information. |
