PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor capable of inhibiting a processing of management information required for management from being requested from a management device while firmware of the image processor is rewritten. SOLUTION: When the request transmission interval (request interval) of transmitting the request of the management information from a management terminal is shorter than predicted rewrite time of the firmware (step S289; YES), that is when the management information is to be requested from the management terminal while rewriting the firmware if the firmware is written as it is, the image processor requests the management terminal to change the request transmission interval of transmitting the request of the management information (step S290), then transmits the firmware to the image processor and instructs the rewrite of the firmware (step S293).
