PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide communication equipment in which various kinds of functions can be indicated by a simple key operation and the dimension of an operating part is not large. SOLUTION: After a user selects a function desired to register by a function key or the like, a one-touch dial key is pressed continuously longer than prescribed. Therefore, the selected function can be registered in a memory corresponding to the one-touch dial key selected by pressing. Thus, by pressing the one-touch dial key in which this function is registered, the function can be easily called without operating the function key or the like a plurality of times.
