PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a painting die for an enameled wire allowing a hole shape to be freely designed with high precision, producible at a low cost and having large quantity production adaptability. SOLUTION: After a metal-coated film layer, for instance, a nickel-plated layer 1a is formed by applying metal coating to the circumference of a metal core wire, for instance, a round stainless steel wire 2a by means of electrolytic plating, for instance, nickel electrolytic plating, the core wire 2a is pulled out and removed, and this paining die 10 or an enameled wire having a predetermined shape is formed by means of cutting by using the wire-removed hole an the metal-coated film layer 1a for a die hole 2 and a die base material 1, respectively.
